    Overview

    Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus is spin-off from the 3DS Senran Kagura series made for the PlayStation Vita, exchanging the side-scrolling brawler style of the previous games for Dynasty Warriors inspired hack 'n slash gameplay on full 3D battlefields. It will feature 2 new factions, 20 playable characters, and 4 player competitive multiplayer over WiFi.

    The title, Shinovi, is a play on shinobi, the traditional Japanese name for the ninja, with the b replaced by a v for the Vita.

    Release

    The game was originally released in Japan by Marvelous AQL on February 28, 2013. It has been licensed by XSEED Games for downloadable and limited retail release on October 14 for the US and 15 for Europe.
