    Sexy Parodius is the fifth game in Konami's Parodius series. Though starting life simply as a send up of their own Gradius games, Parodius has gained its own cult following.  
     
    Sexy Parodius contains eight playable characters, drawn from various source material both in videogaming and in Japanese culture: 

    • Vic Viper/Lord British
    • Michael/Gabriel
    • Hikaru/Akane
    • Ivan/Toby
    • Mambo/Samba
    • Koitsu/Aitsu
    • Option/Multiple
    • Shooting Star/Black Viper

    Sexy Parodius was enhanced for its appearence in the PSP's Parodius Portable and is the last "true" entry in the series; its follow up and the last new game, Paro Wars, was a strategy title.
