Hello can someone just tell me how to get out of the room that catches fire and explodes? i just want to move on, does it have something to do with that hyperspeed thing?
Run out of the room, climb the ladder while holding the x button so you go as fast as possible then run back to the elevator. The elevator won't be there so you'll have to jump up the elevator shaft as quickly as you can by jumping off the two sides of it. That should do it.
It's like Super Metroid where you have to escape as fast as you can. The main part is the ladder. Make sure you get up there quick enough either by boosting or by jumping off and quickly doing your multiple boosts to get height and repeat.
After you go up the ladder, holding X hopefully, continue to hold X and you'll more than likely get into hyperspeed which will allow you to just run up the elevator shaft, saves some time.
Be a ninja and jump back and forth from each side of the elevator to escape. Seriously that is the way to do it. You can clear it in a few jumps with all your gear.

Really? I just ran up the wall with my Friction Dampener every time.

Really? That is interesting; I ran into it with "mach speed" activated and it stopped me dead in my tracks. Maybe I should have jumped slightly beforehand?
