Shadow's first self-titled adventure, Shadow the Hedgehog, became one of the most controversial games in the series, due to its darker and edgier nature, and the fact that Shadow is able to wield guns.

I found it lying in my sister's bedroom and I haven't played it yet, should I give it a shot or just let it be?

I've heard that it is awful but it can't hurt to at least give it a chance.

No. If you are looking for a Sonic game, get Sonic Unleashed. I heard SU was better then Shadow.

any game that has to do with sonic and is 3D i would suggest leaving it be. i tried sonic the hedgehog for the 360 once over at a friends house and it was one of the worst games ive ever played. it doesnt have the same sense of velocity and stuff the the 2D ones had and focuses too much on fighting. from what ive heard about the shadow series they are even worse because pretty much the only thing in them is fighting.

If you play it, ensure you disinfect your console after using it, for it will be contaminated. And don't touch it without wearing rubber gloves. It is very corrosive and will burn a hole right through your hand.

So I played it... I shut off the console after playing halfway through the second level.

I played Shadow once, shortly after i broke out into cold sweats and then later that night I woke up naked in a shopping mall.
