Legacy
Shaq-Fu was panned by critics for its stiff controls, hit detection, and overall the overall concept. The game has been labeled one of the worst games ever made, even bad enough that there is a group that goes after all copies of this game in an effort to destroy every copy ever made.

The banished mummy Sett-Ra is about to break through to this dimension and take over the world, and the only hope for humanity is none other than Shaq.
Shaq Fu is a fighting game published by EA and developed by Delphine Software in 1994. It was released on the Genesis, Game Gear, SNES, and Game Boy. It featured Shaquille O'Neal as the game's protagonist. The game follows Shaq, as he makes his way to charity basketball game in Japan. On his way there he stumbles into another dimension where he must face seven different fighters, such as Beast, a red guy with claws, and Mephis--a green guy with a cloak--to rescue a boy named Nezu from the evil mummy Sett-Ra. This game is criticized for its terrible hit detection, and a plot so far out there that it's laughable. It had terrible dialog like, "I'm gonna rock your chair, grandpa." The hit detection was so bad it would only respond if an attack hit the middle of the body, so high attacks and low attacks served no purpose. The name Shaq Fu is also inspired by Shaq's rap career, during which he worked with a group called Fu-Shnickens. Recently been hailed as MC Hammer's favorite video game ever.Characters
