Description Sharblu is named after a then-popular Asari soprano singer when they surveyed the planet during Earth's 17th century. It's color resembled the singer's unusual skin tone.
While commonly referred to as such, Sharblu is actually too small to be considered a "standard hydrogen-helium gas giant". It's characteristics are more common with a superterrestrial protoplanet. The clear gases in it's atmosphere are what give the planet its deep blue color.
