A length of exceptionally sharp metal with a handle, used for centuries as the go-to killing device for the human race. It's dead simple: you stick the pointy end in the thing you want to die. Or you could always slash them with the equally sharp sides. That works too.

A computer is a common object in video games. They can be used for many purposes; to trigger objects - such as a lift or a bomb, gather information, or even to play games.

It gives meaning to gravity in 2 dimensions. There is no other object which so defines Games as separate from every other pursuit. Where else does one encounter a platform but from the bounds of a video screen? ...except for delivery men.
The energy force shield is a common element found in science fiction. By encasing an object in a bubble of energy, whether it be a single person or an entire city, the object is protected from its environment. Some energy shields deflect projectiles, lasers and radiation, or anything conceivable.

Whether it's worn for protection or style, helmets appear in various game genres.
A map is a drawing on a piece of paper, or other surface, that indicates the locations of various landmarks.
Pants (a.k.a. trousers) are a type of leg covering.
A keycard is a plastic card with a magnetic strip, chip, or other circuitry, programmed to allow passage through locked doors. May also require a passcode or password of some kind.
