Taizo Hori is the protagonist of the Dig Dug series, as well as a recurring character in the Mr. Driller series. Though he solved the Dig Dug incident at a young age, he worries that he has been overshadowed by his son Susumu.
Spanish ninja who originally appeared as the second of four bosses in Street Fighter II. He is known as Balrog in Japan.

Sue is an orange ghost (later turned violet) that appears in Ms. Pac-Man. She prefers to wander off on her own.
Bub is one of the main characters in the Bubble Bobble series. He's the green one.
Zangief is a Soviet/Russian professional wrestler from the Street Fighter series, who fights for glory of his homeland. Although usually depicted in adaptations as a villain, he is undeniably a good guy in the games and often helps the other heroic/anti-hero characters face off against the title's antagonists.

Boxer in the Street Fighter universe. His character was based on the real life boxer Mike Tyson.
Sagat is a character in the iconic fighting game series Street Fighter. He was introduced in the first Street Fighter game, and is Ryu's arch-rival.
A wandering martial-artist, Ryu is a master of the fictional fighting style, Ansatsuken. He is one of the main characters in the Street Fighter universe. Only those that have beaten him know his surname.
M. Bison is a powerful villain in the Street Fighter universe. He leads the evil organization Shadaloo and fights his opponents with 'Psycho Power'.
The best friend and rival of Ryu, Ken serves as one of Street Fighter's main recurring characters throughout the Street Fighter series.
Generic bald boxer in Fatal Fury 2 and Fatal Fury Special.
A Chinese martial artist and Interpol officer in the Street Fighter series. The "First Lady of Fighting Games," she is a recurring member of the series and was one of the eight original World Warriors of Street Fighter II.
A Japanese sumo wrestler in the Street Fighter series and one of the original eight World Warriors of Street Fighter II. He tends to join international fighting tournaments to prove the strength of sumo to the world.
Dhalsim is a stretchy Indian man from the Street Fighter series. He can breathe fire, and even teleport short distances.
Kim is a Taekwondo master. He enters tournaments to prove that his martial art is the best in the world.
Medusa is often portrayed in games as a creature that is a cross between a woman and a snake. The lower body is often a snake tail, and the hair is usually a mass of snakes. Other than this, the head and torso are that of a woman.
Guile's wife. Appears in his endings. Known as Julia in Japan.
Guile and Jane's daughter, known as Chris in Japan.
