Shattered Galaxy, once a full retail Massively Multiplayer Game, is a unique take on the online game market. The game is set up as a real-time strategy game where players try to take provinces by having large battles where up to 40 users may be a part of at once. What makes this take on the RTS genre so unique is that instead of each player building a base and creating units that way, the players instead buy and customize a platoon of units of whom they only control a squad of 6-12, depending of the stats their character has, in combat at a time. The only way that a player can change their squad in the heat of battle is by either having the whole squad wiped out or if the player retreats back to their "spawn portal".
