Well, I haven't been into a snowboarding game since Steep Slope Sliders on the Sega Saturn, but this looks pretty promising (if they please show us more gameplay soon), especially for a Ubisoft game. Putting a pair of videos together rather than just the latest (the 2nd one showing the customisation) since there haven't been any posts about it until now. Official website.

It looks quite good. I know the first game played well but have yet to play it...I haven't got a Snowboarding game since SSX Blur, which I thought was humble but great..I would much prefer a sequel to that game with BB support, It's a shame EA passed on it last year, and decided to concentrate on it's Sports Activ shit instead.

I haven't played the first but it's supposed to be really good, maybe I'll give it a chance since I enjoyed SSX Blur so much.

Well, the Wii version of EA's skate boarding game also looks very good, perhaps as good as this, at least graphically. A very good Wii port in any case. It's a shame they decided to focus on that board accessory with it. At least on Wii they should have made it optional with (GOOD) balance board support included. I'm not buying another board even if the game's good (still skeptical, even if it looks good), so I'll just skip it.

Edit: My bad, that's Activision's skate boarding game... EA dropped the ball with Skate also I guess.

@Al3xand3r: Good clip. I just got the game and love how it's littered with ads for Red Bill (little sarcasm there). I got the game at Target and they included a bonus DVD but most of the stuff I was able to find online here:  http://www.shaunwhite.com/projectx/?mtag=moreredbull

Does it have many tracks? Most of the reviews rate it good - but - not - awesome and I don't really trust Wii reviews this gen but most mention the shallow single player modes so I was wondering how many tracks it actually has. If the campaign mode isn't substantial I won't really mind as long as there are many tracks to master and go for high scores on. Despite any minor flaws this is probably still the most fun you can have with a snowboarding game currently, thanks to the balance board, and fun > everything else obviously. Oh well.

I'm just starting the game (but can still see all the advertising they put there). There's 8 different mountains with 75 challenges (from what I've read). So far the campaign mode has been pretty good actually. You start out 100 in the world and try to move up to number 1. It's pretty interesting I think.

It's a fun game, probably not for someone who wants the most realistic game but I think it has its realistic qualities and you're right. The balance board is awesome, but makes it a lot more difficult.
