has it still got that stupid RPG thing in it? and if the framerate is fixed then I might buy it, I liked shift but it was a letdown due to the framerate and the point system

Framerate's quite decent, but the loading times are awful even with installation...

The phrase is referring to the first Shift, that (in our opinion) was the best NFS installment way back in 2007.

Let's say, it's the best installment since the first Shift... it even surpasses Hot Pursuit

Shift 2: Unleashed

The sequel to the 2009 racer Need for Speed: Shift. Shift 2 features improved graphics, a new campaign mode and the addition of the Autolog system as featured in Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit.
