So, who all is getting Devil Summoner 2 tomorrow? 

I didn't pre-order it and I didn't play the first one... but I kinda want this regardless. 

The problem is that I have so many other real life things and other games going-on right now, that I really don't have time for an 80 RPG right now.  The last thing I'm scared about is that this is an Atlus game and may go out of print, so maybe i should buy it even if I don't play it right away. 

What do you guys think?  Anyone else getting this game?

Hope you can find it easily Luke. I preordered it just to make sure....I don't ever want to do a DDS 2 type hunt for a game again.

Heres a diffrent but similer question, who is getting it because of the endurance run/part of the same series as Persona 4?

It is an action rpg, from what I have read it is leaps and bounds better then the original. You may want to check out the original, as this is a direct sequel."

I hope Atlus start's to make some RPG's for the 360/PS 3

I have my copy pre-ordered on Amazon, but they don't ship until the 14th. If I can find a copy before then I will definitely pick it up sooner.

I am not saying anybody has to buy the first game, it just makes sense. The same thing goes for Digital Devil Saga 2, if you want to have a firm grasp of everything, you should play the original first.

I played both Avatar Tuner games (Digital Devil Sagas) and loved them!!! 

So badass going back through again with Calamity Bullet, if I remember correctly, and then using the save data on the second game :p

yea i hugged it lol  the games fun.  the training level is long as hell.  Im about 5 hours in and its alot of fun so far

Got mine this morning opened my Amazon box and was like o yea i ordered that Free Shipping and came really quickly was quite surprised. Thought it was Cryostasis at first but remembered that was coming from NewEgg. Still playing the first one (really just started it on Episode 3) i'll be playing Demon's Souls next however and this will probably sit on my shelf sealed with the plushie next to it.

No hugging the Raiho yet.  I started to go back through Nocturne again and I'd like to run DS1 and DS2 in order so the box is sitting on the shelf, probably for another three months at this rate.  My son likes the Raiho though, and I'm waiting for him to start asking for the box to be opened so he can play with it.
