Persona 1 was inherently a bad game, though. And the interface was cleaned up a bit, so its not that bad a strike against him.
P2 on the other hand could have been a great game with some cleaning up. And even though its disappointing(though, understandable) Hashino isn't working on this, I'm still not giving up hope.
@ch13696: I'm pretty sure SMT: Persona (PSP) was released on PSN as well as a UMD. I suppose the same will happen with this one. It has been said to be released in Winter 2010 in Japan, but nothing more than that.

Actually, I think its super clever about that stuff.
If you've played innocent Sin before- you'll notice the spoilers almost instantonously, but its cleverly disguised as not to tip a new player off. Unless you spent some significant time analyzing it, I doubt you'll figure things out from it.
Its also really pretty and well-directed. They've improved so much since P3/4 when it comes to animated stuff.
Just crazy. When I read about the movie on Kotaku everyone kept pointing at Paprika, but if you're going to take someone's style, Satoshi Kon's a good place to start. (sigh, RIP)
I hope they put this on the PSN as well for I do not own a PSP sigh...
Curious if they have added anything or change any game mechanics? Hope it does well for it was my fave of the series. Eternal Punishment was decent but lacking from the first and I kinda wished for a extra ending for I like happy ends even though tragic or self sacrificing endings can be more epic.
I liked the music in the original opening much better, but the animation looks great in this one. Love the summer festival images in there, and the subtle things. I do kind of wonder if this opening might update with game progress. It's weird having Jun absent.

Although... if it's going with Innocent Sin, that leads me to believe there will be an Eternal Punishment PSP release down the road....
It would have been nice if it were a compilation of both.. hell it could be set up sorta like P3P where you choose the hero -- if you go with Maya, you play through the events of Eternal Punishment, if you go with Tatsuya you play through the events of Innocent Sin.
WHAT WAIT? How did I not know about this? Does this mean were finally going to get a English translation (official) of Innocent Sin? This news just made my day!
Literally the only thing I care about in this situation is if Hitler is still in the game as the second to last boss. Then again, he was actually a fairly important part of the story IIRC, so removing him would be... difficult. I liked what I played of Innocent Sin, but not enough to warrant me buying a PSP.
