I just did the monorail scene in The Journey, and I'm getting maybe 80 odd XP from a fight. But in Tartarus, maybe 4/8XP a fight.

Just come from P4, so it seems a bit different exp wise.

No, the first block of Tartarus becomes pretty worthless pretty quickly.  Once you get up to the second block (which you unlocked by beating the monorail boss) you'll start to get better exp again. 

I was wondering the exact same thing until I got to Tartarus block 2 and it made sense that the first block is just like a training section.

I'm using Orpheus, Asparas, Ara Mitama(Triangle fuse), Nekomata(Dual fuse) and alp. Seeming to find new ones on the second block, will report as I progress

That's basically my team too besides for a Jack Frost instead of Orpheus. Nice to know i'm not doing it wrong. Or we're both doing it wrong together.

Have you been doing Elizabeths requests? I did one before for 12k Yen, which put me up to 50K. When I got a good fortune at the shrine which doubled my money. Was cool :D

I got a reward before which let me fuse Hua Po, the nakedish red lady. I'm trying to make a Jack Frost with Dia at the moment, but thankfully, I've just unlocked the compendium, so time to experiement.

I'm finding it a lot tougher the further up I get. I should go and get some new weapons, now that I have unlocked block 2, hopefully the police station will sell some more stuff.

Cadenza is still love....but I don't know why it shows MC naked when you do special fusion attacks >:O

Ah..if you don't know what that means, I believe its when a persona will give you an item of some sort(usually something fairly good) once they hit a certain level.

Block 2 is now cleared. Time to grind to level 17, and make a social link 7 Pyro Jack >:D

Late in the game bosses can be 30,000 XP and single fights in Tartarus can net as much as 4000-5000 XP if you can guess where the XP-bonus card has fallen.  The average XP at that point in the game is about 400, I'd guess.

Just beat the fabled "Sleeping table". Jesus.... there go all my bead chains and magic mirrors!

You'll get more XP once you can go higher up in floors.  You can't just farm the lower levels for xp.
