Persona 3 is an RPG once I started I never thought I'd finish. The Journey alone took me over 90 hours to complete and that still gives me The Answer to go through.

Yes. 100 hours and counting for me... probably more than I put into the original.

I started this game, and it's OK, but I'm not sure why it gets all the great reviews.  Does it take a turn towards greatness later or become more epic than simply being routine with the day-to-day of high school?  I definitely plan to stick with it and I think it has the potential to be great, but right now I'm not seeing it.

The story's pretty good, combat gets really strategic later on, the persona creation system and how it figures in to your social life (and vice versa) is rather interesting...basically if you like pokemon, this is better.

I beat P3 with about 76 hours, and I started a new game with FES with my old save, but I haven't spent more than 2 hours with it.

Yeah, I get what you're saying, especially since I maxed all social links the first time, running through it again is something I'd rather put off.

Well it's been answered before but FES basically stands for FEStival.
However it can be also used as:
Foreign
Exchange
Student
=FES.
I still haven't finished it because I've been kind of lazy to pick it up but I finished the original at around 110 hours.
I just love the ending, one of the best endings ever made!

I still would like to know what happens at the end of Fuka's Mitsuru's and Aigis' social links. I'm pretty sure Yukari just forgives her mom.
