Okay, so i ordered a copy of Persona 3 FES and the disc is in perfect condition but it freezes up right after i set everything up and thats "The Journey" part but "The Answer" part works just fine i don't know if it is the game or my PS2. Any suggestions on something that might help to get it to work?

Sounds like the game might be messed up...
 
Have you dried wiping the disk? for smudges? Or even cleaned the lazer of your ps2?

I cleaned the disk but not the lazer i will have to try that now thanks a lot Catolf

Mine freezes a for a bit at that point as well yes, but it's not debilitating or anything, it loads... eventually and I can play just fine
