I'm playing through the answer and I wanted to know what the hardest party member fight is!

Yukari and Mitsuru. It has nothing to do with their healing abilities (because, for some reason, they no longer have them).

It's been a long time since I played it, but I'm pretty sure the last fight was the hardest.

Wait, what the hell kind of contrived reason does the game come up with for you to fight party members?

@believer258: Yukari has a breakdown over Minato, basically.

I though it was harder the fight with Akihiko and Ken. For about three fights they killed me in two rounds, with their tactical combination of buffs and spells.

But seriously, I haven't even gotten to The Answer yet, I got to floor 100+ of the Tartarus and said "What the fuck, this isn't the top?" and basically quit.

How many floors are there in the Tartarus?

Easily Yukari and Mitsuru.

Shame about the spoilers, but since it's already out there I guess I'll just go into it.

I died 3 times to Ken and Akihiko, won a close battle against Koromaru and Junpei on my first try, and surprisingly completely crushed Yukari and Mitsuru. Odin carried me to victory with Elec Boost, Elec Amp, and Thunder Reign. The guaranteed shock meant the Brave Blade follow up from Metis was a guaranteed crit, followed by another while they were on the ground. Yukari didn't even get a turn. Mitsuru used her one turn to try to charm me, but I had guessed she would and had equipped charm immunity accessories, which I'm guessing is the biggest hurdle of this fight for most. Lucky I came across those.

Akihiko though.. he fucking knocked me out with his high-crit punches. I probably could have made it much easier on myself if I played more aggressively but I hadn't yet figured that strategy out.

Turns out I never did. I started The Answer and I was like "fuck this" and haven't loaded it up since.

I really liked Persona 3 proper, but like Persona 4, I wasn't terribly interested in supplementary material.
