Tanaka was an interesting fellow in Persona 3 in that you could actually form a Social Link with him in addition to purchasing tangible goods from him every Sunday via telephone. While his capacity may now be limited to that shopping channel in Persona 4, imagine if his presentation was a bit... spicier. And filled with far more yelling with no real justification. Basically, what do you think it would be like if Billy Mays ran the shopping channel every Sunday instead?

I've only just started Persona 3 and I thought it was funny the way it told me I had to be smooth for him to notice me. Alas, i'm just unpolished.

Imagine is a Shin Megami Tensei game, set in the world of Persona (like Devil Summoner), but it is not part of the Persona Series :p 

In-addition, Imagine sucks really bad.  I was in the beta even before Persona 4 was releases.  It was a huge disappointment.

Yea if Billy Mays was Tanaka, Persona would be made in the States, and the main character would look like Stallone.

It'd be awsome if the Persona 5 localization team read this and decided to put in some reference to Billy Mayes.  Maybe an easter egg where Tanaka is selling some cleaning product like OxyClean or something.

That'd be a pretty funny memorial to the man.

I'm gonna throw this out there as someone who just started the Tanaka Social Link in P3 - if he were anything like Billy Mays, I'd like him way more. :\
