Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4
Game » consists of 5 releases. Released Jul 10, 2008
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 is a role-playing game developed and published by Atlus for the PlayStation 2. It is chronologically the fifth installment in the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series. Like its predecessor, its gameplay combines a traditional role-playing game with elements of a social simulation. Its critical and commercial success spawned a sizable media empire, including several spinoff titles.
Persona 4 T.V. Show
No, that would fail horribly. I don't really think an anime could work all that well either to be honest.
God no. I really don't want to see any more persona for a while. (except for P2)
IMO Atlus should either make another main series title or another Spinoff.
Sounds awful. If they were ever going to do anything with Persona 4, I would hope that they just make a direct sequel with all of the characters. But it's never gonna happen. Persona 4 is an entity unto itself just like Persona 3 was. They'll probably make a FES version ( if even that ) and then move on to Persona 5. You'll never see those characters in their own dedicated thing, whether it's a game or a T.V. show. It's probable that they'll get some sort of cameo in the next game, but that will be all they get.
This is a horrible, awful idea and you should be incinerated for coming up with it.
They should just do an anime kinda like Persona: Trinity Soul only, well, good.
I wouldn't mind an anime series done in the style of the cutscenes from the game, with the game's voice actors reprising their roles... but a live action american interpretation? Hell no! It'd be way to weird for a mainstream audience, and Persona fans would hate it for changing their beloved story elements/characters too much.
Although I must say I'd love to see the american live action interpretation of Teddie turning into a human. That would just be some crazy weird awesomeness.
" @scarace360 said:Also, Persona: Trinity Soul didn't really have much to do with Persona 3 beyond the inclusion of Akihiko. It wasn't so much an adaptation as it was a poorly conceived sequel that distanced itself from the actual game enough to not risk offending the fans." It would have to be an anime. And plus they already made a persona 3 show and it was ok. "Okay just ain't good enough when it comes to Persona. "
This is where you lost me. Nobody changes Chie's name!Change the names Nanako=Natalie, Chie=Christie
I think a Persona TV show would be good. Not even one based on a specific game, but just the themes and ideas of Persona would be cool.
Still, I am going to echo what others had said. If they picked a specific game and changed the names, I might cry. Also, the MC would have to have an actual voice as they would have dialogue. That would just mess with my head. All he says is the name of Persona's...
I would like this to happen so much that I have been contemplating how to do this for almost a year now.
So it's like those bad 80s and 90s translation/dubbing of anime in the US...
Except making it into a janky ass live action show?
I'm just going to go watch Sabrina the Teenage Witch, or Buffy the Vampire Hunter thank you very much. (Or maybe Angel if I wanted it to be slightly serious)
