We'll switch to a new thread periodically, whenever it feels dramatically appropriate, to keep these things from becoming too massive. Let the good times begin. Again.

Always happy to have an excuse to watch these again! So will there be a thread for each episode?

Man I got to about episode 50 doing this again but I had to stop. I forgot how most of those episodes become about 50 mins of fusing which I find hard to watch.

I thought the plan was to start on the 9th. Oh well, the 8th is still perfectly fine. I'll be back in about an hour or two to watch it. 
 
(Also, my first run of the Persona 4 ER. Though I have seen the first episode once or twice, as well as part of the second.)

Persona time!

I did this a couple of months ago and got to episode 150. Now I have to start all over again...

Just finished watching it. I forgot how Charlie's name was originally going to be "Tuna".

I'm on board duders! It's always fun to check the endurance run again
 
I've restarted watching it several times, but I've only seen it fully once

finished watching. Some awesome quotes from today: 
 
"Ooooh! Is this going to be a gas station attendant simulator?" 
"I had to go live with my weird uncle for a year. At first it was kinda weird but...I got into it...out all night...stabbed a guy."

I tried watching a 2nd time last year. The parts where the story is being explored are fantastic, and absolutely re-watchable, but most of the grinding and fusing is too boring to watch a 2nd time.

I'm 6 episodes in

My Internet might be working again!  For now.  We'll see if it lasts long enough to post this time.
I love the way that Vinny and Jeff immediately assume that Dojima is a miserable drunken salaryman instead of a miserable drunken detective.  He always looked a little too square-jawed for me to understand where that impression came from.
And how crazy was it that they showed

Oh man I forgot they initially wanted to do these in 15 minute chunks. We'd have so many more episodes X.x 

Maybe its just me, but knowing the context of how these came together, it's kind of funny to watch these first episodes when you know that Jeff and Vinny had no intention of playing through the whole game.  I am curious to find the episode (or episodes) where that attitude changes into "WE GOTTA DO THIS!"  Maybe Ep 50?  But that's getting ahead of ourselves.

Fantastic, can't actually believe it's two years since the first endurance run. A magical series, I don't think I would be able to rewatch it all again but I envy those who are just about to experience this for the first time. Enjoy guys!

Should I do it? No, I don't have the time to watch all this again. But then again, it's really good. No, I can't. Or can I... NO! well, maybe... Can I?

I love Chie in iPod commercial mode.  And also her cheeky smile at the elevator camera.  Man, I'm not one to swoon over naked cartoon pussy, but Atlus did a good job of making some really lasting characters.  I even love how dumb she is.  So does Jeff if I remember.

I'm honestly not sure who had the best scene in the intro, except that it definitely wasn't Yosuke.  My vote is split between Kanji for backhanding a guy and Rise for her stage-slide.

I love how Jeff says its shorter  than persona 4 and should only take 65 hours - it ended by taking 100.

So, having reacquainted myself with the first episode of this ER, I'm very much looking forward to the thrilling conclusion of "You find yourself alone with Nanako!" 
 
(By the way, this will be the first time I actually make it past that point.) 
 
Not a ton to talk about in this first episode, especially knowing a little about what's to come.

I also love how it was in fact Ryan's idea to call him Charlie.

I've watched this ER at least four times front to back since it's started (there's nothing to do in Hong Kong when you go back every bloody year) yet I still have it playing in the background every now and again. I guess I just like the sound of conversation going on in the background not to mention that I'm a big P4 (profile background says it all.)

I'm at the tail end of my own re-endurance run and I want to finish it off... Two Endurance re-Runs sounds like a pretty good crazy. 
Is it going to be a strict daily thing or will it adhere to the original series post dates? Because, as I recall, they took a week or so off for E3.

Remember the good days, when, you know man, you just find your self, you find yourself, and you're... you're... sitting alone, with Nanako?

I started watching the Endurance run when it first came out and had got kicked out of the loop by like episode 15 (I think I went away for a few weeks or something and didn't have the time to watch them all as catchup) so just started on the weekend and up to episode 37 so far! It's so god damn funny. Can even be really nagging at times when they think a persona they have equipped doesn't have a spell when in fact they do and you just want to scream 'NO DUDE! LOOK! ZIA IS RIGHT THEEEEEEERE, ARGH!"
 
But I know how much more pressure you have when you're being recorded, so it's understandable! :D

It was a good first episode. I wish the game audio was more audible, but what can ya do? It's hard just watching one per day. I may need to "read ahead" as it were. So many good memories of this series.
