Persona 4 social card battling game for GREE's just been announced. Which means that P4G's not the last Persona 4 title (though it might be the last "major" one).

I could go for a persona 4 2, just FF this up except these games are actually good

I'd love for Persona 5 to be the Persona 4 cast in their college years. I wouldn't mind a new setting and characters but why do that when I'm so heavily invested in these characters?

Yes. It was a great game, but it's time to move on. Give us Persona 5 already.

That would be interesting too. Like Nanako as a teenager with daddy issues and a weird obsession for older guys, esp. Big Bro, or Rise as an ex-teen pop idol, probably working her way into the softcore porn industry... But yeah, I'd like a more mature setting in P5.

Nope. There is way too huge a cliffhanger at the end of Arena for them not to continue it. I'd be really disappointed if they stopped there.

I specified in the OP: "Not counting potential Persona 4 Arena iterations since those are pretty much inevitable"

But then again, you might be referring to the story in the fighting game continuing in something other than P4A, which I suppose is also a possibility.

@FluxWaveZ: I really don't see how they could contrive another story so that a fighting game would make sense. At least I hope they don't continue this series with another fighting game. It made sense for Arena and it's story, but they should really return to the RPG style of games when they continue the Persona 4 story.

@InfiniteGeass: True, I can't see how they could make another full story, that makes sense, in a fighting game continuing the P4A cliffhanger without there being very few actual fights in it. Though, I'm certain that there will be at least another iteration of P4A, and I'm not sure I envision that game's story mode being the exact same as the original game.

Yeah it's time to move on to a new adventure with new characters.

I'd also like to se a more mature cast like they did in P2: eternal punishment. I don't know if it should be the P4 cast though, I don't know if they'd all be able to go to the same college, but maybe one or two of them, kinda like how Yukki from P1 was a teammember in Innocent sin. Waiting for Arena here myself so I still has some catching up to do, but I could imagine it would be best to let persona 4 rest a bit, it's done good, really friggin good, but it's time to move on.

Well the Vita version's just a port, so I'd say P4A was essentially "Persona 4-2. They released a bunch of shit for Persona 3, so this is nothing new, but there was only 2 years between Persona 3 and 4. Therefore, WHERES PERSONA 5 AND 6 DAMN IT?

They should release the damn game on PSN for PS3.

Bought my brother a gift card for PSN assuming it was on there and told him to get there and it's not. That's a joke and purely a greed move for Golden.
