Wiki Vandalization

#1 Posted by ChrisTaran (1782 posts) -

Looks like someone went through and deleted all the images in the wiki page as well as make other formatting changes.
Things like this seem to be on the rise on this site. Does anyone know if there's a way to roll back to a previous version of the wiki page so that all the work isn't lost?

I think there is a cache of it, I don't know about images though, send a pm to mods and staff through this link.    PM Mods

Wow that's pretty pathetic.

It's not vandalism. At least I wouldn't call it that ;)
Just seems more like a bug in the system. The thumbnails for images embedded in the main body of text on the page can still be clicked and still pop-up the image in a larger view. It just seems that the thumbnail isn't showing properly is all :)

Yeah, that's pretty much completely wrong. Looks like someone was working on this locally on xyr Windows-based computer, and then just pasted it into the page without realizing that only xe could see the images.

I've found an archived version of the page on a mirror site, and will work on restoring the images. Please don't edit the article in the meantime, otherwise they will be overwritten.

And the world keeps on turning.

Well, it's good to know it wasn't malicious in nature.
Thanks LordAndrew for working on restoring it.

Okay. The images are back now, as well as the section headings which were screwed up.

I like happy endings.
