Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 is a role-playing game developed and published by Atlus for the PlayStation 2. It is chronologically the fifth installment in the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series. Like its predecessor, its gameplay combines a traditional role-playing game with elements of a social simulation. Its critical and commercial success spawned a sizable media empire, including several spinoff titles.
Just think it'd be awesome to play through Persona 4 on my X360 controller with my HDMI, I know its unrealistic expecting a 60hr + game to be a download but would be awesome to see some sort of port, and maybe it would be possible to release it in xbox original vain ...
Just really like it on my PS2 but be awesome to earn achievements for Mysterious Fox escapades and to add it to my X360 library, unlikely and it is just a thought and It'd be cool to see what others think.
I would write this off as dumb, but, seriously, that is sort of a good idea. I don't see it happening, but a graphically improved port (read: no gameplay changes) would be sweet.

You know what I just caught that. And I know why it happened too; see I was looking at something for "Holy Badman" and thought about how this is a game is something ATLUS would do, and so the companies got switched in my head.
So correction, ATLUS doesn't care what they make on where, so maybe; as they've done as many remakes as SquEnix these days.
A port would be a bad idea. The game is near perfect as is. Porting it to XBL or PSN would just give game reviewers round two to bash the game or knock down the score unless they added new elements like FES for Persona 3.
Solution: PS2 emulator, Make Backward Compatible a STANDARD for all PS3's. Sony needs to fix there shit and stop trying to force us off the PS2 so we have to buy games we already own again through PSN to play on the PS3. They need to get off the Namco business model. Who here has a Non-BC PS3 with a bunch of PS2 games still in their collection?
The problem is that I don't think that any RPG aside from PSU has nailed how to do achievements in an RPG. I don't want to have to grind out dumb shit like FIGHTING 1,000,000 BATTLES or FINDING EVERY TREASURE CHEST IN THE GAME. Key each achievement to beating a boss, and either make them secret or make the descriptions vague enough to not spoil the story. Problem solved.

There's a reason I worded the achievement the way I did because if I divulged that information, we'd be getting into hella spoiler territory. It should happen within a couple of weeks on the endurance run, though.

Not true. The first two Shin Megami Tensei games were on the Super Famicom. The first SMT game released in America was the original Persona on PS1, though.

or they do it like Eternal Sonata, were all the Achievement are hidden and only pop up after a event.
Shin Megami Tensei Nine is not the ninth game, nor is it online. And your list is missing a bunch of games (unless you're only counting true SMT games, in which case you have too many) and incorrectly labels PS2 games as PSP games.

yeah the two of the SMT: Devil Summoner series was suppose to be ps2 not PSP. I was zombie mode when I posted. thanks for the edit. as for putting up all the SMT games... good luck, you do it. I only put up just one ones duing the PS2 timeline for a previous point. That "all SMT was not put only on the PS2" quote. Just expect the series to be avaiable to reach audience and fans, not as an exclusve to be out of reach.
the SMT 9 Online is the title. The "Online" is part of the name like "FES" for Persona 3 and ./hack as a title that tells you a little about the game. Its a RPG based on a fantasy online reality.
After Tokyo is destroyed by nuclear fire, it is rebuilt in digital form for it's former citizens to enjoy and visit.
