The guy that started Resident Evil isn't even at Capcom anymore.

This kind of stuff is always wierd to me. Capcom still makes Resident Evil games. SEGA still makes Sonic games, even though Yuji Naka is gone. Anyone else find the concept strange?

Neither is Hideki Kamiya, but they will still crap out DMC games. Sigh.

It's not really "strange" to me unless they've turned to someone else to make the game when the original creator is (was) still working for them (See: Devil May Cry 2 -- What were they thinking?!)

It's really hard to trust that the future games in the franchise will be good, for both Resident Evil and Devil May Cry. I guess that's another reason why I'm so bitter about Capcom and refuse to buy any of their games new.

I don't think that it's weird, just business as always, even though sometimes it would be best to stop when the father of the game franchise feels it's time to move on.
