I want to listen to podcasts when I play this but the sound in the game is too loud and drowns it out whenever it plays music or a lot of people talk at once. I can't find an option anywhere so figured I'd ask in case I'm missing something.

If you're running this on Windows 7, there's a way to control the individual volume level of applications currently running. I think it's right clicking on the task bar icon for the sound and selecting Volume Mixer or something like that. I'm not on Windows right now so I'm not sure that's what it's called.

If you want to completely disable all sounds from the game, just turn off the sound for the program in your Windows sound options.
