    Magical comedy

The Simon series began as a brilliant adventure game with a superb script and brilliant animations. Packed with original characters, mixed with parodies from lots of different fantasy sources, constantly breaking the fourth wall, the game will have you laughing out loud. The MIDI music is quite agonising after a bit, but can be turned off. Some dialogue drags on, but as Chris Barrie keeps delivering comedy gold for the vast majority of the game so you can't really complain about that either. While the solution to some puzzles might bring a frown to you face, most of them will bring a big, fat grin.

    Pros & Cons

    + Brilliant British humour
    + Chris Barrie
    - Some puzzles are overly illogical
