After Nintendo's E3 presentation, a batch of screenshots along with a new trailer and a fact sheet reveal that the two playable characters are Isa, (presumably the same Isa who was the son of Saki from the first game), and a new female character named Kachi. Isa and Kachi are being hunted, and they are on the run shooting everything in sight. Isa and Kachi both have their own special shot, Isa's being a powerful charge shot, and Kachi's being a shot that hits multiple enemies at once. There are also portions in the game where the character is able to fly around the whole screen instead of just moving left or right, thanks to a jetpack in Isa's case or a hoverboard in Kachi's. Heads-up display layout appears to have taken some nods from Ikaruga, and more info is sure to be released at a later point in time. As of now, there is plenty of speculation of what the rest of the game will be.

Overview
Sin and Punishment 2 is the sequel to the popular Japanese Nintendo 64 import title, Sin and Punishment: Successor to the Earth. The title was announced with almost no hints prior to the announcement.
