Entrenchment and diplomacy have failed to end the wars between the TEC, Advent, and Vasari. These factions now splinter with dissent in Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion.

Energy Weapons

Any weapon that shoots laser and plasma beams or energy bolts rather than conventional bullets.
Fleet

A fleet is a group of ships, typically military warships, that sail together for mutual protection and to consolidate their power.
Rivaling Factions

Two or more factions, either with the same or completely different goals, that constantly try to one-up each other. The player is sometimes forced to pick a side to root or work for during the struggle. Other times the rivalry is only mentioned in the plot.
Steam

Steam is a digital distribution service owned by Valve. Originally created to distribute its own games, Steam has since expanded to become the de facto standard for digital distribution of PC games, and supports community features, downloadable content and achievements. Starting 2010, Steam now offers Mac games as well.
Steam Achievements

Valve's counterpart to Microsoft's popular achievement system.
Steam Cloud

Steam Cloud is a built in feature in some Steam games, it synchronizes game saves, settings and other data to the internet for access from any computer that has Steam installed.
Superweapon

A superweapon is a structure or character with amazing powers and amazing costs. This weapon can turn the battle to its owner's side single-handedly, but is usually the most expensive and time consuming to construct.
The Advent

One of the playable races in Sins of a Solar Empire. The Advent were forced off their home planet, now they come back for revenge against the Trade Order.
Trade Emergency Coalition

One of the playable races in Sins of a Solar Empire. The TEC are a makeshift force to protect the Trade Order.
Vasari Empire

One of the playable races in Sins of a Solar Empire. The Vasari are on the brink of extinction, running from an unknown enemy.
War

War is a series of organized conflicts carried on by force of arms between two or more nations or groups. Whether it never changes or has already changed is up for debate.
