Sirens appear in numerous games, usually with their voices as weapons or spells that damages or paralyzes their enemies, taking the form of screams or songs.
In Final Fantasy V the Siren appears as a shapeshifting boss, who can switch between alive and undead states, making her immune to some attacks. She can put the protagonists to sleep or silence them with her songs.
In Killing Floor the Siren is a moderately powerful, yet slow specimen that gives off a powerful area-of-effect scream attack (giving off a visible red disturbance field), which causes great damage that ignores Combat Armor, destroys grenades and other explosives, and causes disorientation.
- During the "Twisted Christmas" event, Sirens were reskinned into carolers tangled in Christmas lights.
- During the "Summer Sideshow" event,Sirens were reskinned into Beaded ladies with short arms.
Sirens appear in several of the God of War games, in several variations. The Siren Seductress in God of War III sticks closest to the traditional depiction, emitting a loud scream that will stun Kratos.
Sirens appeared as Naga's spellcasting units in WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne, and subsequently in the Defense of the Ancients mod, as well as in Valve's DOTA 2. Among their spell abilities is the "Song of the Siren", which is an area of effect spell that will put nearby enemies to sleep.
