EA Black Box is developing Skate 3 for release in May 2010. The game will feature cooperative play and a suite of creation tools for graphics, films and skate parks.

Skate 3 will feature a bunch of new improvements including:- Skate Create - Skate Create is an "innovative toolset that empowers gamers to truly express their skate style by creating their own graphics, videos, and skate parks."
- Co-Op - Players will be able to team up and form skate crews to "complete challenges together while advancing each other's careers."
