    Skullgirls Review

Skullgirls is a 2D side scrolling fighting game like that of the Blazblue series, the story focuses on an anicent item that can grant the wish of any woman who finds it.Of course as a fighting game, the story is lacking but then again if it's a good fighting game, then you shouldn't really give two shits about the story.

The gameplay is basically the same as seen in games like Persona 4 Arena and Blazblue, which is good cause those are in my opinion the best in the fighting game genre. The game has a whole female cast which makes for some nice..um..eye candy.Off subject! the game allows you to play with up to a team of three, but you can also play with a team of two or go solo,I recommend you use a team of two.

The graphics is where the game shines.the artstyle is like a mix of Soul Eater and Panty and Stocking, color palattes are references to other characters from properties such as My Little Pony Friendship is Magic,Darkstalkers,Final Fantasy,Hellsing,Evangelion, ect. The Artstyle is what sold this game to me and why graphics aren't everything,it's nice when a game can look as amazing as it plays and Skullgirls fits this to a T

in short,I say that if your a fan of fighting games, you should play Skullgirls,it looks great and plays just as well.My only problem is the small character selection, but with DLC characters on the way,it's only a small complaint.

One guy asked me to do repeated Sub Zero low kicks so he could decide which Kitana attacks were best suited for countering said low kicks. You know, that kind of crowd. Well Skullgirls was...
