Dwarves are a short, stout race that appear in any number of fantasy games and stories. They are almost always depicted as short with bushy beards similar to vikings. They can also be identified by their love for ale and gold. A concept found in numerous video games, the idea that a weapon on fire is more powerful or does special "burn" damage when set on fire. Most commonly found with swords, several other weapons have been known to be set on fire for a similar effect.
Giants are tall humanoid beings, found in mythology and various fairy tales. They are usually portrayed as being slow-witted and quick to anger, though gentler kinds also exist.
Gnomes are a race of mythological creatures, which are usually much smaller versions of humans.
Goblins are irritable, evil and mischievous creatures in folklore. They can range in size from halfling to average human size.
A Half Elf is the offspring of a human and an elf. In many cases, they are discriminated against by both humans and elves, which guides them to a nomadic life as bards, druids, or rangers.
Halflings, also known as hobbits, average about three and a half feet tall. They have an innate affinity to nature and possess both the agility and dexterity to make great rogues. Halflings are generally good people, but also have a mischievous side that my infuriate others.
This is a mechanic used in many games where the player may pick up a weapon, temporarily, that is larger than any of the standard weapons.
High Elves is a race in the fantasy genre. They are all good-natured, but are often considered rude or prudish by other races. High Elves are highly intelligent, but also wise, making them great magic users of all types.
Humans are bipedal, sapient primates capable of abstract reasoning, language, and emotions.
Iksar are a reptilian race in the EverQuest series. They are the most evil of all the races and are hated by even the Dark Elves, Ogres, and Trolls. In the original EverQuest, Iksar are the only race other than Humans who can become monks.
Insult Swordfighting is a concept from the Monkey Island series of games. It is a swordfight where the goal is to outwit your opponent with various insults. If your enemy does not know the comeback to your insults, you will win the match. Every insult has a corresponding comeback.
Weapons with a mind of their own. Sometimes their personalities clash with the people wielding them.
