(PC ver) Improving AA quality without increasing in-game setting?

#1 Posted by Sweetz (553 posts) -

Picked up Sleeping Dogs over the Steam sale. I've got a GTX 570 and it looks like I can run everything on high except theAA setting and stay above 45fps. On normal, the in-game the FXAA coverage is a bit weak. It's a shame that FXAA can't be increased to high without also turning on performance killing MSAA.

Has anyone had any luck with an AA injector or using control panel AA settings? I typically use the SMAA injector for games without native AA, but I've never tried it on a game that already had built-in shader based AA, I'm not sure if it will work, plus I don't want to blur up the game too much.
