True Crime, hopefully good?

I know that the original True Crime games didn't exactly set the world on fire and were at best mediocre games. I however loved True Crime: Streets of LA on my PS2. It had the sandbox fun of GTA titles and a pretty good fighting system with some simple RPG leveling systems. I never played the New York one and as I understand it that is for the best. But when I recently saw True Crime on Inside Xbox, it looked like it had the things i liked from the first game and some new interesting things. I'm trying to keep my hopes under control, but as a fan of sandbox games and Honkong action movies, it looks very exciting. Let's hope they don't screw it up.

Not surprised that it's been cancelled, inside xbox shows gameplay footage a few weeks back, it looked horrid.
