So I'm starting to play this game and this game is supposed to be a sniper game right? Throwing rocks as decoys, planning your shots, and so on. Well third person just kind of ruins that. I shouldn't be able to see enemies if I'm behind a wall or under cover. That's now how it works. Anyone else agree?

I think that you should be the gun. It hurts to be shot so you have to try and jam yourself.

Although I enjoyed Sniper Elite V2, I agree, a more realistic line of sight system should have been implemented. It's a bit unfair to be able to do that, but then again, it's also unfair to slow down time to snap off perfect shots.

Not really.  The third-person perspective makes the stealth a lot less frustrating than it would be in first-person.  I'm not saying you can't do stealth in first-person (in fact it's fairly thrilling in games like Far Cry 2 and Call of Pripyat), but it's not exactly practical, and the number of people who will be able to enjoy such a game is limited.
