    Overview

    Soccer Brawl is a sci-fi horizontally-scrolling soccer game developed and released by SNK for arcades (running Neo Geo MVS hardware) on February 14, 1992.

    Similar to 2020 Super Baseball, Soccer Brawl brings the sport of soccer to the future, featuring teams of both cybernetically-enhanced humans and robotic machines and new rules (including special "power shots" and optional enclosed fields (for ricochets). While it is not the first soccer game by SNK, it is the first one released for Neo Geo hardware and the first to give the sport a futuristic theme.

    The game was later released for both the Neo Geo AES (on March 13, 1992) and Neo Geo CD (on March 31, 1995).
