The biggest excitement for me is that Zipper inc. isn't working on the game this time around which is great! And since the SIXAXIS feature will be used to lean around corners and what not, I hope that Slant Six will utilize the D-pad for weapon placements like Epic Games did for Gears of War.

The fact that it's going back to classic SOCOM roots.

If i didnt own a 360 and a plethora of fps i might be excited merely on concept. But i do and im not.

If I had a PS3, I would so buy this game, It was one of the first online games I played on my PS2 and I don't know what it was but it was just so fun. Hopefully this one is more like Socom 2, that one was my favorite.

I bought the PS3 for this game!  (and the blu ray player...and MGS4....)  I love the customizable character idea and the inclusion of old maps, is it wrong to already be jonsing for the first map pack when the game itself isn't even out yet??? :)

Wait you have to lean with the Sixaxis? that sounds brutal to me, though I haven't really had enough time with sixaxis to fairly judge it. I've never played socom so I can't say this interests me too much, but I know people who still play the old Socoms which is pretty crazy.

It's the third PS3 exclusive yet.
