    Good Game 0

SOCOM is a game that was a platform seller when the original game was released. There has been a lot of inherent hype for this game. Sony has looked to Slant 6 to deliver on the success that made the PSP games successful into a full console game. Unfortunately as it stands at release they have only delivered half of it. The part that they have delivered is an extreme pleasure to play when you can get in.  The graphics are pushed to edge for this online-only shooter. The controls are quick and re...

Socom leaps onto the PS3 but falls short of something amazing 0

If you had a ps2 back in the day you had to have Socom. They were great games and really game new meaning to tactical shooters. So I was very excited to say the least when i heard that Socom was finally coming to the PS3. Had it preordered and everything, I couldn't wait. The day came and I went and picked it up and immediately popped it. After a few rounds I realized that a lot of things in this game just don't work.      After you log in you will notice that the menu screens are online s...

SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation PS3 Review 0

SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation is a multiplayer going up to 32 players only game that features no campaign or training whatever. It has a strong, competitive, and fun multiplayer that will keep you busy for a while. SOCOM Confrontation has a sense of realistic feel to it. You have wide variety of weapons to use and customize yourself from grenade launchers to acog scopes to suppressors which affects accuracy, damage, etc. You can also fully customize your characters' appearances and wha...

its good when its not lagging. 0

Well this game is good when its not lagging. Unlike the other installments that had a solid release and not laggy when launched or less laggy. When you get into a game that is not laggy it really shines. the game is stellar and you can see how the first 2 installments sold the ps2. Its cqc fun like all other installments with the exception of 3 and ca. This game feels like the old games which the “vets” as they call themselves will love. Yes it is a multiplayer only but that shouldn't stop you f...

This game has boring gameplay and bad graphics. 0

Yes, I'm afraid to say it, the latest game in the tactical shooter series SOCOM has got a lot of problems. I am reviewing this game after its initial technical fiasco, where the online was not working properly. Well now, it works, I'm not getting any lag at all, which is good. But, the game behind all this is just complete garbage. The controls in this game really do make me mad. Why can't I change them? R2 to run? What were they thinking? No button to snap to cover? It's all very strange for a ...
