when i first started playing this I did not know what to think. The graphics are very bad and the controls are different than newer fps. The controls are very tight and you turn slowly and the auto aim locks on to an enemy. But after playin this game for a little while I have grown to like it a lot.

(PROS)

-It has a lot of action and is very gory. Enemies heads and limbs will fly clean off when you blast them. Bullets leave pretty realistic holes in people, and when you slash people with knives it actually leaves slash marks. Also people react realistic when shot, for example, if you blast some1's leg off they will fall down to the grown clutching it. The screams of anguish by your enemies fit in well too.

-theres a good variety of weapons

-difficulty is just right

(CONS)

-besides the gore the graphics are terrible, this game did come out in 2001tho so its expected, but in some instances you will find yourselves lost because rooms are very similar looking. Sometimes you cant see the enemy at all because they are too far away , but they can still shoot you. Also sometimes you need to find a specific area to jump to or wall to shoot to continue on, but the graphics make it hard to tell what you are able to interact with.

-loading times kinda annoying. You can save anytime in a level , but when you die and have to reload from your last save it takes just as long to load as it did when you first started the level.

- also frame rate drops pretty noticeably when there's more than 2 or 3 enemies on screen

(MULTIPLAYER)

Suprisingly this game has split screen multiplayer with bots. I tried it out but the frame rate slows down so much that its very hard to aim so I doubt you would play this for very long, but I must give this 2001 game props for having a bot multiplayer.

So if you are the type of person who can appreciate a classic fps and can overlook some very dated graphics you should pick up this game. Also fans of gory games will absolutely love playing this (like me hehe) This game is dirt cheap now , so theres no harm in picking up a copy and trying it . Also this game has great replayability. The second time through was just as entertaining as the first for me.
