Lakilester is the last character that joins Mario's party in Paper Mario. Lakilester is a Lakitu who abandons Bowser and joins Mario. His special skill is his ability to float over harmful objects like spikes and lava.
Lakitu has appeared in a variety of Mario games; from Super Mario Bros on the NES right up to Mario Kart 7. He is responsible for dropping Spinies onto the levels below, holding up signs and his very own start signal from all nine Mario Kart games.
Wu Kong (aka Seiten Taisei) is a monkey who by force and guile sought to become "The Great Sage of Heaven" as told in the novel "Journey to the West". He has become an exceptionally common character in games since their inception.
