Sonic and Shadow clash once more in this Dreamcast's swan song now ported to GameCube, featuring the same sprawling, fast-moving story told from both sides of the conflict. The multiplayer mode also returns, this time with the option to play as Amy Rose and Metal Sonic.
Yes, I would call this the greatest Sonic game ever. WIth tons of features and characters, it can't really be competed with. The multiplayer is fantastic, and the story mode is insanely fun. Not only are the levels about running, but also about giant robot battles and gem hunts! Oh yeah baby!!! As you get farther in the game you unlock more abilities for your characters. There are six characters playable in story mode: Shadow, Dr. Eggman, Rouge, Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails. And multiplayer mode features even more characters! There are tons of levels, but the game maintains a medium difficulty. Also, even when you beat the game, you can go back to all the levels and play bonus missions! This is a game that is nearly impossible to be bored of, and a must play for all Gamecube owners.

Well, considering this review is out 7 years after the game has been out, one should know of the many Sonic titles that have been released, most of which have been disgracefully unplayable*ahem*Sonic '06*ahem*, and should never had been made in the first place. anyways, enough negativity and on with the review.
