Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut

Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut is a port of the Dreamcast hit to the Gamecube, in turn ported to PC. Despite the "Director's Cut" subtitle, there is scarcely an addition to be found other than small side modes and minor model and palette adjustments to characters and environments.

Objects

Boost Pad

Boost Pads are special zones that, when touched, provide characters with a temporary increase in speed.
Bounce Pad

A common object in many games. When stepped on, the player is bounced into the air to reach a higher ground. More often known as jump pad.
Bubble

Bubbles help you float, they can help you see things in a magnified way. Bubbles can also be your best of friend, which is why they should be handled with only the softest of breath.
Chaos Emerald

Chaos Emeralds are items in the Sonic series with incredible powers.
Egg

It's an egg. It can be eaten or thrown, or perhaps used in other creative ways, like bringing back the protagonist of a group of heroes who travels through time.
Emerald

A variety of the mineral beryl, emeralds are usually green in color.
Gem

A powerful item which is added in many games.
Gold Rings

Gold rings are collectable items found in games such as Sonic the Hedgehog.
Item Box

A box used to store items in a game.
Jewel

Used in Many Games Such As to Open Doors in Resident evil games
Lava

Lava is molten rock, usually from the interior of a planet, and in games is often used as a hazard to players, or as a visible gameplay-area boundary.
Missile

An explosive ordinance propelled by a rocket engine designed to blow an object to smithereens. A missile is often guided, in some way, to its target. For example; by laser, remote control, or computer/GPS.
Mustache

The manliest type of facial hair.
Pinball Flippers

Mechanical bats covered in rubber, used to rebound a pinball back into play. A necessary ingredient in a precursor to the video game. Occasionally seen outside the realm of pinball games.
Running Shoes

You put them on your feet and you run real fast!
Sand

Sand is a fine, granular material composed mainly of rock and mineral, primarily silica. Sand is the primary environment of many games with settings that include deserts, beaches, and the ocean floor, among many others.
Snowboard

A snowboard is a single board used to ski/surf down snow. The snowboard has permeated video game culture, and there are many games based on the snowboard.
Spikes

Spikes are dangerous and often deadly obstacles that can line the floor, walls, or ceiling of any given room or passageway. The playable character is usually asked to circumnavigate these obstacles or suffer loss of life.
Spring

Used to reach higher areas.
Traffic Cone

Traffic cones are used mostly in driving and racing games, but have appeared in many other video games as well.
Train

A train is a series of connected vehicles that move along a single or double railed track.
Umbrella

Umbrellas are found in all sorts of games. They appear as items to protect against rain and as weapons, among other uses.
Vertical Loop

Vertical Loops are commonly found in racing games and amusement parks.
Water

Even though water in games tends to bring about death, we all still hold it near and dear to us. After all, the human body is comprised mostly of it.
