Sonic is among the older franchises in games, and also the more beloved, famous, and unpredictable. He has seen many good games and many bad games; his first racing game of this century falls somewhere in between. While Sonic Riders has enough cool moments to be somewhat interesting, it falls short in too many areas to be worthwhile.The story in Sonic Riders is absolutely terrible. Sonic is made fun of mercilessly by the annoying Jet the Hawk, whose voice cracks every 3 syllables, for being SLOW...

Another good Sonic game. 0
A good Sonic game again, fairly easy, a good amount of customization. All that kind of stuff makes Sonic great in Sonic Riders. Sonic Riders is similar to Sonic R, but instead of a foot race, Sonic and his pals race on hover-boards. The game could have better graphics, and the controls glitch up at times, but it rarely effects you in the race. Overall Sonic Riders is a good game, with not much to improve on....

Editor's Note: I wrote this review a long time ago. I think it needs some polish. I still agree with everything I said, however the review itself isn't that well written. I still think I bring out some good points though, so the review can still be helpful to those seeking advise.After making Shadow the Hedgehog, which was considered a horrible game by many critics and consumers, alike, Sega and Sonic Team have now made Sonic Riders, a racer starring many old Sonic characters and some new ones. ...
