New Wii peripheral: Awesome or heinous?

I honestly can't decide. Regardless of the successful application of a wheel for the Wii controller, I'm torn as to whether this thing is hilariously perfect or an affront to God.

Probably the latter.

 Its heinously awesome!
That thing looks horrible. How would you hold that in your hands? Also, why did they make the same thing as the Wii Wheel?
@ajamafalous: Its for the the sensor on the remote.

Oh SEGA.  When will you learn that sometimes it's not better to join em if you can't beat em?

@Bigbombomb: Does the Mario Kart wheel have an indention like that?

Actually, wait, why would there need to be a spot for the sensor? You aren't pointing it at the TV when you play.

It looks much better then the normal wheel.

I already have 2 Wii Wheels so I'm good plus if I get this game, I'm getting it on 360.

Agreed, it looks like an awesome F1 type wheel.

I like it because it says SEGA on it. It's hardware, not software, so it could actually be good!
