I expect a less polished version of Sonic Rush. You?

I'm expecting Sonic Unleashed without the warehog sections.

i expect sonic the hedgehog 4, about 15 years late.

What do I expect? Probably disappointment, sadly.

I dont think anyone should expect anything from a sonic game ever again at this point. Expect shouldnt be a word in the dictionary to use anywhere with sonic near it.

I expect to be disappointed. Hopefully I won't be though. A new 2D Sonic like this is what I have been asking for for nearly 10 years.

Agreed. I expect absolutely nothing. 
 
If the game is good, then awesome. But I don't expect it to be.

I do hope it doesn't suck balls.

I expect nothing but dissapointment.

My expectations are low, but deep inside I hope that the Sonic Team are on to something for once.

Hopefully Sonic Rush considering that's my favorite Sonic game of all time,
 
Sonic 1 & 2 and close though...

My expectations are dependant on who's making it. If it's Dimps, somethink akin to Rush is likely, but if it's Sonic Team, well, we all know where that ends up these days.

Have anyone of you guys have played the Sonic Rush games? Obviously, you guys have not, just like the 3D Sonic games.
 
 
Sonic Unleashed was a fun game. Critics just dismiss it as "terrible" because they think it's not as good as the 2D games. Seriously, there were aspect to Sonic Unleashed that was great and critics found every everything about it as crap, I don't believe they played the game with a open mind.

im pritty sure that was "Sonic & Knukles" Im expecting sonic as he was in his prime in the late early - mid 90's (or sumthing like sonic advence 3 in HD) "

Something along the lines of Sonic Rush or Unleashed without the werehog sections.
AKA something people will praise for being how Sonic should be done, despite the glaring level design faults and the pits of death every few seconds that require you to memorize the level before being able to avoid them.

Disappointment, mainly.  My constant expectation of disappointment is the only area in which the Sonic games of this generation never disappoint.

Whatever it turns out to be I just hope its good. Its been way too long since we had a good Sonic game on a console.

I'm not getting my hopes up, but if they pull it off, it could be great. (Man, I've got a very specific idea for what I think the new sonic should look like, man, they should hire me.)

I expect to be pleasantly surprised. On the other side; I didn't think it'd be possible for them to reach a new low, but If they fail at tapping into their glory days then that will be the case.

I'm expecting a game with great ideas, but it comes out unfinished and makes the ideas look bad.
 
Like every Sonic Team game this generation.

Just make a damn 2D Sonic game, 3D graphics up to you. Don't include any characters introduced post-Sonic 3, don't have voice acting, and call the guy Dr. Robotnic.

You know how Nintendo had SEGA make F Zero on the GameCube? SEGA know their racing games...

...But they've lost their touch with platformers. They should just pass Sonic to Nintendo. New Sonic & Knuckles Wii/DS? Yes please... If only.

nothing I stopped caring about sonic when I was 10

I have not heard much of this Project NeedleMouse or whatnot, but if it gets good reviews, then i might look into it. 
 
Sonic died for me after Sonic 3 came out, so it will take me a long time to get him back in my good books.

Well based on the little bit I've heard and seen, all I can expect is a 2D Sonic with beautiful graphics. What I hope for is a Sonic game with Tails & Knuckles in it where they all have seperate 10+ unique levels and of course semi-co-op with Knuckles & Tails.

I expect Sonic having black eyes, instead of green.

I expect disappointment.

Sonic is the only playable character, but I was hoping for a few more playable characters, but optional through a character select screen. Knuckles is my favorite Sonic character and I would like to use him. And of course with Knuckles playable, you need to make Tails playable too.
