    Sonic Unleashed is two different Sonic titles released in 2008 across four consoles. Both titles feature high-speed Sonic stages, slower-paced "Werehog" levels, and town hubs where players must progress through the story.

    I know that the Warehog bits look cack and the inevitable "baditude" will have us all wincing in disbelief but no matter how much cock-rock they inflict on us those 2D style sections do look cool right?

    Sonic Unleashed's running sections look awesome. The Warehog parts shouldn't ruin it too much.

    And yes, HandsomeDead, that was anti-climactic.

    From my neck of the woods a punt is a bet so the phrase comes from like horse racing and stuff like that - "I'll take a punt on that horse even though I don't know it's form". Etc.

    I think it would be a complete waste of time..even for a rental. Just the fact that they have a stupid feature such as the 'werehog' and you are stopping to punch things and climb up things, already is full of fail.

    Thanks to both of you.

    Then I have to say, no, I wont take a punt on this. (can I say "into this"?).

    Though usually I avoid doing so, this is a game I'll rely completely on reviews. I do want it to be good. But I just don't see it happening. I don't why, all of a sudden, after tons of terrible games, this Sonic game would be good.

    I'll probably buy this game for the Nintendo Wii. I've been looking forward to it for a while now. I think the game will be great.

    I saw that first gameplay video they released and I'm like: "Hey!"

    But then they couldn't keep the crap to themselves and had to share it with the world. I will not be playing Sonic Unleashed.

    Every Sonic game from now on will be scrutinized heavily until the end of time... and no, I'm not going near this one.

    Although, everything announced before the Werehog slap in the face looked alright.
