Welcome my fellow Giant Bomb comrades! Unless you have be living under a rock that doesn't have internet access, you know that this week is E3 2010. As with tradition, this means that the "Big Three" will be giving press conferences to discuss their past, present, and future in the video game industry. To make the community less chaotic and easier to navigate, we have created a "sticky" thread for each conference. in this thread, we ask that you come here to discuss your general feelings/opinions/thoughts on the Sony press conference.

Infamous 2, please.

Anyone expecting Sony to announce a competitor to the 3DS? They have to be cooking something up on the handheld front, but is it too soon for them to be showing it?

A hard act to follow, but as long as Sony doesn't have a bunch of awkward acting it should be pretty good since they have a nice list of games coming. I hope they showcase them as in-depth as Nintendo did. 
 
@MattyFTM: I think they may quietly exit the handheld business after seeing what the 3DS can do...

There is going to be so much 3D at this thing. GT5, KZ3, probably Motorstorm Apocalypse and Infamous 2 as well.

hoping for more Last Guardian gameplay

I'll be looking forward to seeing if they do announce anything relating to the PSP or the PSP2; especially with those big PSP game sales that they started recently.  I definitely think they've got to do something big though - between Nintendo's press conference with its abundance of surprises and Microsoft revealing both the slim and showing off Kinect in action as much as they did, Sony will have to do something more than just show off the Move even more than they already have.

Hard to beat Nintendo. They surpassed all expectations.
 
I'll expect a completely solid conference at the very least. Hopefully there'll be a few surprises.

PSP 2 perhaps?

They'll be better than microsoft, by far; I dunno if they'll be able to beat Nintendo though.

Will Gametrailers have a live stream of this or does Sony have their own stream as well?

I would like some Little Big Planet 2 gameplay and a PSP2 might be announced with better piracy protection since the original PSP was easily cracked. I'm mainly looking forward to gameplay footage of Sony's major games. 

I just want another Last Guardian Trailer. Sony Doesn't need to show any game-play or give it a date just a Trailer. Hell say it is move compatible and you have a sale.

I'm hoping to see a PSP2 ( I really like my PSP even if I don't play it much anymore) and a sequel to the Legend of Dragoon (which won't happen). I'm not saying those two things are enough to "beat" Nintendo, but it would make me happy.

I have a feeling Sony is going to impress us the most once again folks.  
 
MS sucked big time this year, Nintendo was surprisingly very good!!! and Sony is just going to show off the most impressive stuff, and the most stuff too probably. 

Don't let me down Sony! I'm expecting good things.

Nintendo were amazing this year, but Microsoft were terrible. If Sony announce a few good games and bring on Kevin Butler, they should have a good one.

Absolutely stoked!

I just hope Sony delivers with some Kevin Butler action... the surprises other than that would be icing on the cake.

Sony could very well fail though. Sometimes they're kinda dumb, huh? They had an awesome show last year. I hope they come out with a simple, effective handheld focused only on games, and not on media. That killed the PSP. Of course, media is their entire mission statement.  
 
Here's hoping for some new IP's and displays of already announced new IP's (Agent and Last Guardian plz).

I am very very excited for Sony's pc. All they have to do is show new footage of The Last Guardian and announce a release date and I'll be happy.

Sony better bring their A game after Nintendo's press conference.

Just a note: People said MS won E3 last year before Sony took the stage too. Sony can win very easily.

Anyone else feeling that Last Guardian will steal the show?

Most excited about Little Big Planet 2. Also, Last Guardian seems pretty cool, another trailer would be nice.

That would be pretty decently big... I wouldn't say that they were stealing an exclusive from Microsoft though.... it would be more like Valve got off their ass and started making PS3 games. "

Hope Move is shown to be more than just wiihdplus :/  Not a big fan of kinect either but at least it's slightly different.
 
Biggest change that would make me happy would be online changes and a new controller.

Am I the only one who wants to see some Move action? 
That swordplay from last year looked pretty sweet.... 
Also is it way too early for a uncharted 3 teaser?

I was waiting for these press conference to surprise me. Microsoft didn't do it since we knew about what they talked about already. Nintendo announced some pretty good first party games. Sony... lets wait and see... Nothing big from their press conference has been leaked.

My predictions. Kevin Butler not host, but be in a ridiculous amount of videos. 
The PSP2 will be announced and be backwards compatible with dual analogue at 249.00 
The PS3 will receive crapload of bundles to make it appear cheaper. 
PS2 Backwards Compatibility/ Cross Game Chat/ PS3 OS Redesign/ and PS3+ will be addressed
Kojima will announce something.
Epic Games will announce something
I Am Alive will be shown off. 

The last 3 are reaching, but I figured the first four were tame.
