Aeon Calcos, sometimes known as "Lizardman", makes his first appearance in Soul Calibur. He later appeared in Soul Calibur III, and Soul Calibur IV. It should be noted that a different lizardman appeared in Soul Calibur II. His trademark weapons are an axe and a shield.
Algol, the Hero King, is the final boss in the game Soul Calibur IV, and is the creator of Soul Calibur. Algol wields both Soul Edge and Soul calibur . He is also said to hide ten distinct weapons in his body, like a cannon that forms around his hand.
Astaroth is a golem spawn created by the grand priest of the cult Fygul Cestemus. He seeks the Soul Edge for his master.
Cervantes is a dual wielding Spaniard swordsman from the SoulCalibur series, an undead pirate who seeks to regain Soul Edge for its unlimited power.
Leixia is the daughter of Xianghua.
Dampierre is a Soul Calibur fighter, a card-themed trickster thief with an awesome moustache and great skill with his concealed punch daggers, which he named "Tricks" and "Lies".
Edge Master last appeared as a playable male character in the first Soul Calibur, but returns for Soul Calibur V. He is a master of all weapons and fighting styles, and is therefore a dangerously unpredictable opponent.
Just as Nightmare/Inferno is the living incarnation of the power of Soul Edge, the cursed sword, Elysium is the living incarnation of the power of the spirit blade Soul Calibur.
Nobleman of Florence, and the main protagonist of the Assassin's Creed II "trilogy". In Assassin's Creed II, Ezio is on a journey of vengeance. In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, he unites Rome against the Templars. In Assassin's Creed: Revelations, he seeks to find out how it will all end.
A special NPC fighter found in Soul Calibur V. He is based on the appearance of Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada and fights using the Devil Jin style.
Heishiro Mitsurugi is a wandering samurai determined to prove that he is the greatest swordsman in the world. Due to his aggressive, arrogant demeanor he is often tempted by Soul Edge.
A Princess who leads her army into battle, Hildegard von Krone is the protector of the Wolfkrone Kingdom in the Soul Calibur series. She wields a spear and a short sword as her weapons.
Inferno is the boss in Soul Edge, Soul Calibur, and Soul Calibur II. He is the soul of the evil blade Soul Edge.
Ivy is the busty femme fatale of the Soul Calibur series. She is known for her whip-like sword, conspicuous lack of clothing, and voluptuous figure.
A master of the Ling-Sheng Su style of martial arts, Kilik is a major character in Soul Calibur, and wields the bo staff Kali-Yuga in battle. He is likely the biological father of Xianghua's daughter, Leixia.
Maxi debuted in the original SoulCalibur and has continued on into the sequels that have followed. Using his powerful nunchaku, this wandering pirate can certainly hold his own against any threat.
Natsu is a new character in the Soul Calibur series that appears in Soul Calibur V. She is a disciple of Taki, a veteran of the series.
Patroklos is the son of Soul series stalwart Sophitia, who has since been slain by a possessed human called a "Malfested". Patroklos journeys across the world seeking his long-lost sister Pyrrha, and seeking the deaths of all Malfested he can find.
The daughter of Sophitia and Rothion and elder sister of Patroklos. Though mentioned as far back as the original Soul Calibur, she first appears as a playable character in Soul Calibur V.
Once a French aristocrat who was exiled by his family for killing a noble in self-defence, the arrogant Raphael's flashy rapier techniques, not to mention the fact that he has somehow become a vampire, make him one of the most dangerous opponents in the Soul Calibur universe.
The main protagonist of the Soul Calibur series, once corrupted by the evil Soul Edge and became the original Nightmare, and was later purified, wielding the sacred Soul Calibur instead as he quests to destroy Soul Edge forever.
The living incarnation of Soul Edge's pure, malevolent will. Known as Soul Edge or Inferno, it is the source of corruption that transformed Siegfried into Nightmare.
Tira is a dangerous lunatic, dedicated to the evil blade Soul Edge and its physical manifestation Nightmare with such intensity that it borders on religious worship. Her razor sharp hoop sword and flock of crow spies are her trademarks, along with her split personalities.
Making her debut in Soul Calibur V, Viola has a magic orb that she makes ranged attacks with, in addition to bladed armor on her fingers.
Italian fighter in the Soul Calibur series. Voldo is a fearsome and unpredictable warrior who does not speak, only emitting strange breathing sounds and shrieks. At 67, Voldo is the oldest main character in the Soul series whose lifespan has not been magically enhanced somehow.
Xiba is a skilled fighter in the secret arts of Ling-Sheng Su-style rod and Kong-style rod. He is a travelling companion of Maxi, Leixia, and Natsu.
Yoshimitsu is the successor to the original Yoshimitsu, and leads the Manji Clan.
The mysterious werewolf known only as "Z.W.E.I." is a new character in Soul Calibur V. Fighting with a longsword and an unorthodox method of using it, and a wolf spirit minion named E.I.N. he can summon to aid him in combat, Z.W.E.I. is determined to bring an end to Nightmare.
