Hey guys. Here's a segment we did for my site the other day, where we take a raw look at Soul Calibur V. Let me know what you think!

By the way, I was a bit bummed about the absence of the Tower of Souls or whatever it was called in the fourth game. Does anybody know why they took this out? Seems like a no-brainer to keep that feature in for added value...

Also, who else has had enough of the "semi-animated cutscenes" that most fighting games do? Idk, I guess I just feel like I'm being ripped off when the production values go down to that level.

@SpikeDelight: I think if you post a video and write something that is less than a paragraph, it's considered as spam. I don't know the rules exactly. My post got blocked once because of that reason. Loving the video though. Cannot wait to play this game! lol

It's considered spam because it's little more than a Youtube video with nothing substantial in your text to promote an actual conversation.

It's not a "quick" look it's a "hour-long" look, clever.

@SpikeDelight: Do you know if the game has auto custom characters?

I didn't see it in there, but then again I wasn't really looking for it. Probably like 75% into the video we dive into the character creation though, if you want to check

I'd like some better game audio but otherwise seems good.

The quick look of this was no where near what I wanted it to be. I'm liking the video so far.

At it's core, this is still a video with a "discuss" attached, but seeing as how there is a pretty good potential for discussion value here, I'm going to choose to let it stay. The video is pretty well done despite having next to no game volume.

Also I'm content with the Tower of Souls being removed because I wasted all of my time in there at one point and I will never get that back. >:|

That was pretty neat in 4. Sadly, the Single Player content isn't great in this game. It's all about the online, which is solid.

@JJOR64: So I've seen. :/ But I've always been that terrible person who customizes a boatload of characters to be stupid with online, anyways. There is a lot of room for improvement in that single player.

Tower of Souls was the most boring single player aspect ever in a Soul Calibur game. I cannot believe you would want that back...
