Following in the footsteps of Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, Australa's new R rating is in full effect here. Encouragingly, Gears of War Judgment did NOT get an R, and keeps the 15 ratng of the other three games in the series.

Unfortunately, it seems that despite the R18+ rating and descriptor of "High impact bloody violence" the Australian version of Spartacus Legends is censored. There is no blood spray and the executions are replaced by a screen displaying the text "Slaughtered."

Baby steps, man. Baby steps. By which I mean "they take one step forward and immediately trip over their own bulbous head".

@video_game_king:

Mortal Kombat finally came out in Australia last month under the R18+ classification (High impact violence, blood and gore) so there's no reason why Spartacus Legends should have a gimped version in this territory.
